Pam
Asberry has been a lifelong student of the piano. She
studied under Mary Jane Grizzell and Donald Beattie and
received her Bachelor of Music Degree and her Master of
Music degree in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from
Southern Illinois University. She has run successful
independent music studios in Peoria, Illinois and Raleigh,
North Carolina and currently teaches at Asberry School of
Music in Dacula, Georgia. Pam is a member of Music
Teacher's National Association, Georgia Music Teacher's
Association, and Gwinnett County Music Teacher's
Association; her students have are regular participants in
GCMTA Fall Festival, National Federation of Music Clubs
Federated Festival, and
Gwinnett
County Music Teacher's Association's annual Ensemble
Concert. Pam believes that music study is an integral part
of a well-rounded
education; her goals are to nurture the innate love for
music that exists in students of all ages and levels of
ability, and to help every student with a desire to learn
to develop musical proficiency.
